My birthday just passed, and I had a blast creating my plus-size summer birthday looks. As a plus-size woman, finding the perfect look can be challenging, especially in the summertime. In this day and age, clothing is too revealing or too covered up. In April, I purchased a dress for easter, and it fit beautifully until it came to the closure part under the breast. I love unique colors that you typically wouldn’t see individuals bold enough to wear.
GRWM Vibes
My motto is whatever others don’t want; I will take it as a challenge to rock it and get others to see its beauty. I purchased this dress unique dress on Fashion Nova, and I would rebuy it if I had to. The color of my dress was rustic copper orange, and it had a super flowy vibe. When it came to makeup, I already knew I had more than enough colors to create a beautiful olive-green look.
Olive Green Eyeshadow
So for my makeup, I always do the usual routine; you already know I use MAC Cosmetics for most of my looks. I like to use a buildable full-coverage foundation to create a natural look. I love to blend everything when applying makeup to create a seamless look. The more colors I use and blend out, the better the outcome. If I need to make more depth, I will pack a light amount of product to create deep or to blend out my makeup. I used a pallet from Give Me Glow Cosmetics (Juicy Olive), my perfect olive green eyeshadow makeup look. I am obsessed with olive, 24-karat gold, mauve, blush pink, tan, and rose gold. In high school, my favorite olive green was by Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow, 12 Hour, with SoftFlex, Neutral Khakis 315.
Cute Summer Outfits
When locating your birthday summer outfits, you must always keep in mind the temperature it will be outside. I know in June and July, it is super hot, and I hate having fabric touching my skin. Honestly, I don’t like to have anything on that won’t allow my skin to breathe. So let’s say my birthday was at the end of summer. I would’ve probably worn something with a sleeve of some denim jeans.Â
